a modern and moody beach-inspired color palette

Welcome back, friends! We’re almost halfway through 2023 and I believe my last color palette was published in early 2022. Whoops!

If you’ve randomly landed here and are wondering what this color palette is FOR, the answer is :: anything! PSA: these are not paint colors, though many people use these for interior design inspiration. Others use the color combinations for needlework, paintings, digital art, cookie decorating, and, of course, branding.

The hex codes above (like #D4C1B3) can be used to create the color digitally if you have a website or are designing a graphic in Canva, Photoshop, etc.

Today’s modern and moody color palette is inspired by an aerial view of a beach in Naples by Alex Perez. It features a deep marine blue, muted turquoise, sandy nude/beige, toned-down blush pink, and tan. Enjoy!

WHAT ARE THESE COLOR CODES? The hex codes above are provided as a courtesy for those customizing website colors or looking for general color inspiration. They are not based on paint or Pantone chips. Remember that ink on paper will never look the same as light on a screen. If you like a combination you see, we recommend saving the image and heading to your local hardware store to find paint chips that match. Digital colors will change depending on your phone/tablet/computer screen, so be sure to color match with real swatches.

PRO TIP

Need to convert the hex codes to something else? Google “Color Picker” and you’ll see the RGB, CMYK, HSV, and HSL equivalents when you type in the 6-digit HEX code. ;)
