a Mediterranean-matchbox-inspired color palette

Sorry for the extra-long intermission between my last color palette and this one! Busy season is in full swing around here and I’m up to my eyeballs in work. Speaking of work…or, err, not doing work…is anyone else ready for a vacation? I certainly wouldn’t mind gazing at the Mediterranean from my bougainvillea-covered balcony right about now.

Today’s beautiful blue, blush, and gold inspiration comes from a stationer called Octaevo out of Barcelona. If you can’t take a real vacation yet, you can at least day dream about one by heading over to their IG feed here!

DEEP MEDITERRANEAN BLUE #131888 / MEDITERRANEAN BLUE #2741CD / BLUSH #F2DCDE

SALMON PINK #E7987E / GOLD #C98D21

WHAT ARE THESE COLOR CODES? The “hex codes” above are provided as a courtesy for those customizing website colors or looking for general color inspiration. They are not based on paint or Pantone chips. Remember that ink on paper will never look the same as light on a screen. If you like a combination you see, we recommend saving the image and heading to your local hardware store to find paint chips that match. Digital colors will change depending on your phone/tablet/computer screen, so be sure to color match with real swatches. Also, I make up all the color names.

Happy Friday!
