We're so excited to introduce you to the newest member of our (very little) team: REBECCA! She is not only our new Design/Office Assistant as of August, but also Nani's newest friend. (This is a big deal around here because Nani is quite wary of strangers...)

Name your top 3 places to EAT in San Diego. Go!
- ISLANDS: when my girlfriends and I are feeling especially fancy, we head on down to Island's in La Jolla for some delicious tortilla soup and cheese fries. Doesn't get better than that!
- El Torito: Who doesn't love Mexican food?! Sure, it might be a chain but their steak quesadilla is to die for! Seriously delicious (when it's not LOADED with uncooked onions).*
- Flemmings: If you are looking for some REALLY good, and I mean really good steak, Flemmings is the place. One bite and I was hooked, even if the steak cost more than what I make in a week!** It was all worth it...
* Don't worry, I just sent her a link to Fidel's. The native San Diegan defended her self-proclaimed "lame" choice of El Torito by saying, "No, I swear the steak quesadilla is really good." Mhmm...
** Rebecca, we'll consider giving you a bonus in steak or real Mexican food. Zing! :)
What's your favorite color and pattern? As of today, my favorite color still remains yellow. Any shade of yellow really is fantastic. It just makes you smile! Favorite pattern has got to be chevron. It's fun and simple.
Where are you from? I am from San Diego, CA, University City to be exact. Grew up in the same house where my parents still reside. Moved away for a few years, but the California weather kept calling me back.
If you could have any job in the world, what would it be? If I could have any job in the world, it would be to have my own letterpress shop where I can create fantastic wedding invitations and stationery for paper lovers.
What's one of your "design pet peeves"? Bad Alignment! I cannot handle when things don't line up when they are supposed to. And when they are trying NOT to line up, most of the time it just looks like a mistake.
What's your...favorite animal? Elephants. They are amazing. The end.
How about your favorite place to vacation or visit? My favorite place to visit is New York City. If there is something you want to do, you can find it in NYC. The art, food, culture, craziness, it has it all! I love walking the streets and taking in the big city. It's like no where else.
Tell us a weird (or interesting) fact about yourself. I lived in Hong Kong for 18 months and speak Cantonese.
We'll hear more from Rebecca shortly, so watch out for some of her posts!
