DESCRIPTION

I knew I wanted to be a part of this wedding suite when Abby, the bride, told me how much she loved her boxer Pancho. Wait…you’re okay with incorporating your dog into your wedding paper? YES PLEASE!

What I love most about designing custom wedding invitations is the opportunity to let the couple’s personalities shine. I want guests to open the envelope, smile, and say, “This is SO them.” When I heard Abby and Matt’s wedding would take place at a train museum, I knew a vintage train ticket would be perfect. But how would we make it unique? First, we would allow Pancho to make several appearances. (If you look closely, you’ll see him as Head Chef, Train Conductor, Boot-Scootin’ Boogie Coordinator, and Wedding Host.) Second, we would make a 3-page, date-punched ticket tied together with twine and wrapped in a beautiful, shimmering belly band. Third, we would pore over every last detail, from the custom maps to the railroad-inspired wording. Last but not least, we would tie in Abby and Matt’s love for Austin and find a balance between sophisticated and down-to-earth.

Congratulations, Abby + Matt!
